Life will happen. It is inevitable. Each of us will face challenges, disappointments, and sorrows. Through it all I have found the most powerful tool in helping me meet the various seasons of life has been love. I believe in positive regard towards others and the power of love to help us recover from all the surprises life can throw our way. Degrees may demonstrate my time invested, skills may demonstrate my time in practice, but only service rooted in love can create a safe environment for others to uncover their wounds and begin the process of healing and recovery.

I have over twenty years of experience working with survivors of trauma, the rejected, the betrayed, and those embroiled in the complexities of the child welfare system. Each treatment plan is strength focused and client centered.

I am rostered in TF-CBT. I am trained in CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing and CPT. I have a long history of client advocacy. In addition to the aforementioned skills I am also trained in Biblical counseling and substance abuse treatment for adolescents and adults.
