Mikayla Wimbush
Mikayla is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Mercer University, School of Medicine. She is most interested in working with millennials and the challenges that come with further education, starting a new career and relationships.
As a clinician, Mikayla uses a mixture of Structural and Experiential Therapy based on the goals and needs of the client. She focuses heavily on forming a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients to begin facilitating change within the therapy room by using a direct and relatable approach.
Mikayla enjoys working with adolescents, couples, and families who are seeking to create boundaries, build communication skills, and find productive ways to channel their emotions.
As an intern, Mikayla works under the clinical supervision of Mercer University School of Medicine Master of Family Therapy program and the clinical direct of Dawn Swiney, MPA, LMFT and Crystal Gillery, LMFT. She offers a reduced rate of $50 for individuals, couples and families.
